Careering closer to the release of their Abysmal EP (out July 9th via Brace Yourself Records), unquantifiable London outfit Muck Spreader have shared another eccentric offering. 'Would He' is a visceral and openly unhinged listening experience that extrapolates the image of a troubled and potentially neglected dog. Ranting familiar phrases like 'he's lovely really' and 'I promise you he won't bite', you get the feeling vocalist Luke Brennan is projecting something. Sonically fluid and hypnotic, the 5-and-a-half-minute jam is an intriguing and subtly deranged introspective journey that morphs and melds to Brennan's stream of consciousness.
